A total of 2,209,338.9 MWh of electricity was traded on the day-ahead market of the Independent Bulgarian Energy Exchange (IBEX) in September 2021, which is 2.6 % more compared to the previous month. Average daily traded volume in September amounted to 73,644.6 MWh. Traded volume in September 2021 was 59 % higher compared to the same month last year.
The average baseload price on the day-ahead market in September amounted to 125.01 euros/ MWh, which is 12.1 % higher compared to September (111.55 euros/MWh), while average peak price was 134.09 euros/MWh (+ 10.4 %).
There were a total of 87 registered participants on the IBEX day-ahead market, one more than in the previous month.
Regarding intraday market, a total of 107,244.2 MWh (- 1.2 %) was traded, with the average weighted price of 129.02 euros/MWh (+ 4.4 %)
