Bulgarian public gas supplier Bulgargaz proposed an 18% decrease in natural gas prices for March 2024, potentially lowering costs for consumers to around BGN 58 (around 29 euros) per megawatt hour.
The proposal was made during a public discussion with the Commission for Energy and Water Regulation, with the final decision expected on March 1.
If approved, this reduction could offer relief to households and businesses facing economic challenges, signalling a positive step towards greater energy affordability in Bulgaria.
