According to Bulgarian National Statistical Institute, the production of electricity in March 2016 decreased by 3.8 % compared to February, to 3,564 GWh, while deliveries of electricity increased by 1 % on monthly basis and amounted to 3,004 GWh. Production of natural gas in March 2016 remained on the same level as in February and amounted to 6 million cubic meters, while its deliveries decreased by 2.6 % compared to the month before and amounted to 296 million cubic meters.
Compared to March 2015, the production of electricity has decreased by 19.3 %, and its deliveries also decreased by 5.9 %. The production of natural gas dropped by a third, while its deliveries dropped by 0.7 % compared to March 2015.
In comparison to February this year, the production of unleaded petrol in March decreased by 83 % to 26,000 tons and its deliveries increased by 20 % and amounted to 36,000 tons. The production of diesel decreased in March by 66.2 % to 70,000 tons, while deliveries of diesel increased by 43 % to 153,000 tons in the same period.
In comparison to the previous month, the production of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) decreased by 77.8 % to 2,000 tons, while its deliveries increased by 33.3 % to 44,000 tons. At the same period, the production of solid fuels decreased by 32.5 % to 1,919 thousand tons, as well as deliveries of this energy resource, which also fell by 31.5 % to 2,000 thousand tons, transmits Serbia-energy.eu
