Bulgarian electricity distributor Electrodistribution North, a subsidiary of local power utility Energo- Pro Varna, plans to invest some 6.6 million euros in the electricity network of the Varna region, in the eastern part of the country.
The statement from the company said that these funds will be invested in the construction of new electricity infrastructure and the reconstruction and modernization of existing electricity networks in the region.
Electrodistribution North invested almost 9 million euros in the electricity network of the Varna region in 2021.
Electrodistribution North operates and maintains an electricity distribution grid with a total length of 42,526 kilometers and 26 substations.
Energo-Pro Varna is part of Czech power utility Energo-Pro. The company serves about 1.2 million customers in nine regions of northeastern Bulgaria.
