Bulgaria, Production of electricity in June 2021 decreased by 3.5 %
, SEE Energy NewsAccording to Bulgarian National Statistical Institute, production of electricity in June 2021 decreased by 3.5 %, compared to May, to 3,225 GWh, while consumption of electricity rose by 3.1 % on monthly basis and amounted to 2,523 GWh. Consumption of natural gas in June 2021 decreased by 1.7 % and amounted to 230 million cubic meters, while its production remained the same and amounted to 2 million cubic meters.
Compared to June 2020, production of electricity increased by 2.4 %, while its consumption rose by 8 %. Consumption of natural gas increased by 32.9 % compared to June 2020, while its production dropped by 50 %.
In June, production of unleaded petrol decreased by 6.7 % and amounted to 112,000 tons, while its consumption increased by 35.3 % and amounted to 46,000 tons. Production of diesel in June decreased by 9.4 % compared to the previous month and amounted to 223,000 tons, while its consumption remained the same and amounted to 191,000 tons
Consumption of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) increased by 6.1 % and amounted to 35,000 tons, while its production remained the same and amounted to 6,000 tons. In the same period, production of solid fuels decreased by 58.2 % to 1,000 thousand tons, while consumption of this energy resource also rose by 57.1 % to 1,048 thousand tons.
