With several European and Chinese companies prepares their bids for the tender. A representative of one of the largest Chinese companies for Energy Chine Machinery Engineering Corporation came on that occasion in a working visit to Osijek.
In a meeting with Mayor Ivan Vrkic he presented the expectations of the Chinese corporation – if they win the competition, an investment worth 500 MEUR and the opening of three thousand jobs will be the next.
But entering the Osijek area would mean for this Chinese corporation the realization of their second goal – joining the EU, which in the future plan to open their businesses in Osijek.
Otherwise, unofficial sources claim that ten global companies prepare to compete for the project TPP. Who will pass, it will be known in the spring.
