On guarantees of origin auctions for electricity from incentivized producers, that was held on 25 October 2022, the entire amount of 294,647 guarantees of origin was sold on two separate auctions.
Guarantees of origin auctions were organized as two parallel auctions: GOs from biomass were sold on one auction along with wind GOs through CROPEX’s IT trading platform:
– a total of 212,987 guarantees of origin were sold at the auction from the wind power plants with commissioning date from April 2014 to May 2020 (electricity produced in July/August/September 2022) at a price of 5.48 euros/GO;
– a total of 87,301 guarantees of origin were sold at the auction from the biomass power plants with commissioning date from 1 April 2015 with installed capacity less than 5 MW (electricity produced in July/August/September 2022) at a price of 5.7 euros/GO, which represents the highest price of the guarantee of origin achieved since the beginning of the organization of GOs auctions in August 2019.
