Croatian company Koncar KET announced that it has completed the first phase of revitalization of hydropower plants Gojak and Ozalj 1.
In April 2016, Croatian state-owned power utility HEP and Koncar KET have signed a contract on the revitalization of these two HPPs on Dobra and Kupa rivers, which should be implemented in three phases. In November 2017, Koncar put the new generator A at HPP Gojak in trial operation, as well as generators B an C at HPP Ozalj 1, while the trial operation of generator A is expected in December 2018. New generators B and C at HPP Gojak will be installed in 2018 and 2019.
