The order includes maintenance and 24-hour remote monitoring from Germany
The General Electric will deliver twelve GE 2.85-103 wind generators for the wind power plant Rudine, the first wind power plant in Croatia using this company’s equipment, to the producer of electricity from renewable resources, the company RP Global from Vienna.
The project with the installed capacity of 35 MW has been developed in cooperation with the company Adria Wind Power and it will be located near Dubrovnik. The wind power plant Rudine can generate more than 85 GWh of electricity annually.
The order for the wind generator also includes a maintenance contract for the period of fifteen years. The wind generators in Rudine will also be connected to the GE’s center for remote monitoring and control located in Salzbergen, Germany, where the GE wind generators installed in Europe and Asia are monitored 24 hours a day, throughout the year.
