Croatian subsidiary of Hungarian OTP Bank said that it will extend a loan to local company Eurotim Eko for the construction of a solar power plant with installed capacity of 8.59 MW.
The statement from the bank said that the estimated annual electricity generation of Koljane solar power plant is 11.5 million kWh, which is enough to cover the demand of some 3,000 households. However, it did not disclose any details regarding the financial aspect of the project.
The power plant will stretch over an area of 13 hectares in Vrlika in southern Croatia. The plant will be built by E.ON Solar, a local subsidiary of German E.ON, and electricity produced by it will be bought by E.ON Energija. The solar power plant is expected to be commissioned by mid-2023.
