The company has submitted an application to the Economy Ministry requesting an assessment of the environmental impact of the project, the ministry said in a press release.
Wind farm Otric should have 19 wind turbines of over 6 MW each.
Proffedsio Energia owns five wind farms in southern Croatia. In October 2023, the company signed a term sheet agreement with local company RP Global Projekti, a fully-owned subsidiary of renewable developer RP Global Austria, to jointly develop a portfolio of eight solar power plants with an overall planned installed capacity of up to 266 Mwp, on the area defined by the existing energy-approved operating wind power plants owned by Professio Energia.
