Croatian subsidiary company of German RWE soon enters the Slovenian electricity market. “RWE is closely monitoring the development of the energy sector in Slovenia. Our interest is focused on retail, the network and the electricity production”, says in RWE Croatia.
It is not known whether RWE in Slovenia would take over some of the existing energy companies or it will establish their own. Finance interlocutors say that the competition in the electricity market is desirable, as it will tear down the price of electricity.
RWE Energy on the Croatian market delivers electricity to approximately 96,000 households, in which they are the main alternative to HEP, and recently they have started a gas supply to small and medium-sized enterprises, with a tendency to offer gas also to the households when prices would allow it.
