Kelag Group and wpd windmanager continue to cooperate in the Croatian energy market. Following the Jasenice wind farm, the Austrian electricity producer chose the company wpd windmanager Croatia for the technical management of another Croatian wind farm – Orjak. The wind farm is located near Split and consists of five Senvion MM92 turbines and has a total capacity of 10.25 MW.
Director of Orjak wind farm David Huber said that over the past two years, Kelag Group worked closely with wpd windmanager in Croatia. With its excellent network of services and expertise, it made sense for the Group to continue building the partnership. Together with the Slovenian subsidiary InterEnergo, the Group has ambitious goals for further growth of investment in renewable energy sources in southeastern Europe, especially in Croatia where strong and reliable partners such as wpd windmanager are a key success factor in achieving these goals. The Group is pleased to continue to support the transition to renewable energy sources and are constantly looking for new renewable projects, Huber concluded. With offices in Dubrovnik and Sibenik, wpd windmanager is among the market leaders in the country. The company is currently responsible for managing 113 MW of wind capacity in Croatia. In 2019, wpd windmanager has already taken over the management of Kelag’s first project, the Jasenice wind farm. The wind farm consists of five Enercon E-70 turbines and has a total capacity of 11.5 MW.
