More than two times bigger electricity export in BiH was one of encouraging indicators in the beginning in 2013 and that announced possible end of negative trend from previous year in this area that had a crucial role in export fall and in all economy activities.
This was stated in information about macro economy indicators motion in January this year, which was done by Direction for Economy Planning of BiH. Electricity export brought to the increase of industrial production very much after the last year’s fall.
The main reason for this mild improvement of industrial production is increase in processing industry and in sector for electricity production from 6,9% i.e. 2,9% with reference to January last year.
– On the other side, mining sector with January production fall of 5,8% had a negative contribution to the increase of industrial production in BiH- it is announced in the information.
