Gross electricity production in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in September reached 579 GWh, the same as in September last year.
In gross electricity production hydropower plants participated with the share of 31%, thermal power plants with 64% and wind farms with 5%.
Net electricity production amounted to 534 GWh, of which 178 GWh was produced in hydropower plants, 326 GWh was produced in thermal power plants, and wind farms produced 30 GWh.
In September, electricity imports amounted to 83 GWh, compared to 69 GWh in the same month last year, while electricity exports amounted to 141 GWh, compared to 53 GWh last September.
