With three investments that have a combined budget of 170 million euros, Terna Energy is expanding into the new floating solar panels market as total installed capacity of the three projects will reach 265 MW. The company announced that it has submitted an application to the Greek Regulatory Authority for Energy (RAE) for the development of floating solar systems on three reservoirs in central Greece.
PPC Renewables has also submitted a similar application for a 50 MW project at the Polyfito Reservoir in Kozani, while InterPhoton Investments has applied for a license for a floating solar project with installed capacity of 500 MW.
