Helleniq Energy Holdings announced the execution by its 100% owned subsidiary, Helleniq Renewables, of a binding agreement with Lightosource Renewable Energy Greece Holdings Limited for the acquisition, upon the start of commercial operations, of a PV portfolio in Kozani with a capacity of up to 180 MW, of which over 50% is contracted on a long-term basis.
The projects are expected to start commercial operations between Q1 and Q3 2024.
This agreement accelerates the implementation of the Group’s strategic plan to reach at least 1 GW of operating RES capacity by 2025 and over 2 GW by 2030.
