Swedish renewable energy developer OX2 announced that it has acquired two portfolios of wind and solar development projects in Greece, with combined installed capacity of over 500 MW.
The statement from the company said that development projects within the two portfolios are scattered across Greece, without providing details about their capacities or planned commissioning dates. Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed as well.
OX2 CEO Paul Stormoen said that Greece is very interesting market for the company, adding that it will work in cooperation with experienced local partners in an effort to develop acquired RES projects and further expand its portfolio in the country.
