Greek Regulatory Authority for Energy (RAE) said that it has issued an electricity production license to Fos Anavras Monoprosopi MIKE for its 200 MW solar project in Thessaly.
The statement from the regulator said that the production license is valid for 25 years. The solar power plant will be located in Platani.
It is still unclear whether the investor will see the project through alone or it will seek for partners. The company Fos Anavras Monoprosopi MIKE was established last month, when it submitted the application for the license, with the aim of investing in solar projects in Greece.
