Greenvolt enters Greek market
, SEE Energy NewsPortuguese company Greenvolt Energias Renovaveis announced the launch of a new company in Greece with the aim of exploring the high potential of distributed generation renewable energy in the country.
Greenvolt Next Greece will be offering distributed electricity generation solutions with energy sourced from renewables. It will enter the Greek market in partnership with local technology products and home appliances distributor Globalsat-Teleunicom Group.
The company said that the new business will focus on the development of self-consumption solar projects and the creation and management of energy communities and electric vehicle charging networks.
Greenvolt CEO Jao Manso Neto said that entering the Greek market is a crucial step towards establishing the company as a leader in the distributed generation segment, which will be an increasingly critical factor for the sustainability and diversification of the energy mix in Europe.
Greenvolt now has a distributed generation renewable energy solutions unit present in four countries: Portugal, Spain, Poland and Greece.
