Hungary: 48 MW solar power plant to start operation in the summer
, SEE Energy NewsOne of the largest solar power plants in Hungary located near Kiskunhalas will start production in the summer. The 48 MW solar power plant will produce enough electricity to cover the demand of around 30,000 households annually. It will make a significant contribution to the replacement of imported fossil energy sources and sustainability in Hungary.
The solar power plant consists of 130,000 solar panels. Construction of the 132/22 kV substation connected to the Kiskunhalas solar power plant will be completed in May, enabling the power plant to be connected to the electricity network.
