Gazprom has agreed to supply additional gas volumes to Hungary for the winter season, CEO of Russian gas company Gazprom Alexey Miller announced. He added that in 2023 an additional volume of 1.3 billion cubic meters of gas has already been delivered. Miller said that there will be no interruptions in gas supply to Hungary.
In October, Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto said that the country is well-prepared for the winter season due to its common-sense cooperation with Russia, adding that volumes Hungary’s gas storage have significantly exceeded the European average
