Hungary: MOL wants to expand in Slovenia

Hungarian MOL wants a majority market share in Slovenia.So far, the Hungarian company holds 34 gas stations and has the third largest network.

MOL has significantly increased market share in 2011 when he bought the gas station of “Tus”.

How much of the market they want to win in MOL, they do not reveal.

Responsible for the retail sale in MOL, Lars Hoglund states that MOL wants to “significantly” increase market share.

“Slovenia is very important for MOL and it has great potential. It has geostrategic position, the highest economic growth in the region, and it is important in the context of transit”, says Hoglund.

MOL is not present yet in Ljubljana, and this remains the goal.
