The Government of Hungary has signed a letter of intent to purchase additional shares in electricity distribution companies Elmu and Emasz, owned by the German energy concern RWE.
Thus Hungary State would back state companies to an earlier privatized electricity sector, as it has recently done in the field of natural gas.
