Total electricity consumption in Macedonia in March 2016 amounted to 673,382 MWh, natural gas consumption amounted to 12.307 million cubic meters, coal consumption reached 505,286 tons, while the consumption of petroleum products stood at 83,107 tons.
According to the data from State Statistical Office, 72.2 % of the consumed electricity was covered by domestic production, while 96.6 % of the total coal consumption was used for electricity production, transmits Serbia-energy.eu
