Montenegro, Annual overhaul of its 307 MW HPP Perucica will start on 23 July
, SEE Energy NewsMontenegrin state-owned power utility EPCG announced that the planned annual overhaul of its 307 MW hydropower plant Perucica will start on 23 July.
The statement from the company said that the maintenance works will last until 3 September, when the HPP should brought back online.
Earlier this year, EPCG signed a 535,000 euros worth contract with Serbian company Energoprojekt Hidroinzenjering for the preparation of project and tender documentation for the installation of an eighth turbine at HPP Perucica. The installation of the eight generation at the plant should cost around 24 million euros, which would increase the plant’s capacity to 365.5 MW. Financing for the project has been provided by German KfW Bank.
