Montenegrin coalmine Pljevlja recorded a net profit of 7 million euros in the first nine months of 2023, compared to 4.6 million euros in the same period last year, according to the financial report.
The company’s sales revenues reached 48.2 million euros in the first nine months, 31% more than in the same period in 2022. At the same time, operating expenses rose by 21%, to 22 million euros.
Total assets of a coal mine at the end of September 2023 amounted to 122 million euros, 10% more than at the end of 2022. The company’s long-term provisions and liabilities amounted to 18.4 million euros, while short-term liabilities amounted to 14.2 million euros. Retained earnings stand at around 33 million euros.
