The ecological reconstruction of TPP Pljevlja, a project worth 75 million euros, will begin on Wednesday, said the director of the Electric Power Industry of Montenegro, Milutin Djukanovic, at the Jahorina Economic Forum, which is being held in Republika Srpska.
The forums represented regional topics such as the Open Balkans – regional cooperation, strengthening the competitiveness of local communities and the local economy, green transition, energy, digitalization, a new concept of tourism, etc.
During his presentation at the first panel, the President of the EPCG Milutin Đukanović referred to numerous investment projects of Elektroprivreda Crne Gore, including VE Gvozd, SE Briska gora, HPP Komarnica, HPP Perućica (8th unit), SE Velje brdo, SE Vilusi, SE Čevo and numerous others.
Djukanovic emphasized the importance of solar energy during the energy transition, ie the importance of electricity production at the point of consumption. He especially pointed out the first in a series of projects of the Electric Power Industry of Montenegro, the realization of which is certain, and that is the project Solari 3000+ and 500+, the company stated.
Djukanovic added that technical documentation is being prepared for the construction of 200 MW gas power plants, of which 50 MW in Bar (liquefied gas), 100 MW in the Aluminum Plant and 50 MW, for a start, in Pljevlja, where they would be connected to the gas that goes through Serbia to Prijepolje.
Djukanovic also pointed out that the ecological reconstruction of TPP Pljevlja, a project worth 75 million euros, will begin on Wednesday, according to EPCG.
