Montenegro, Regular overhaul of HPP Perucica completed, SEE Energy News
State-owned power utility EPCG announced that it has completed the regular overhaul of hydropower plant Perucica and it is planning to fill the water supply system during this week. The overhaul of the plant started on 31 July.
In addition to regular overhaul works on equipment and plants, as well as the supply system of HPP Perucica, two significant investments are planned this year: replacement of two block transformers T3 and T4, worth about 900,000 euros, and revitalization of generators G1 and G2, worth about a million euros.
These activities are being performed as part of the contract for the replacement of five block transformers and the revitalization of all seven generators at HPP Perucica. The total value of these investments is close to 6 million euros, and the contracts are expected to be realized by the end of the year.
