The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development will provide a 100 million euros loan to Macedonian public power utility ESM to support its liquidity needs during the energy crisis.
Macedonian Ministry of Finance said that the loan has a term of five years, including a six-month grace period, and carries a variable interest rate based on the six-month EURIBOR with a 1 % markup. The loan is guaranteed by the Government.
The loan will enable ESM to continue providing services to citizens and businesses without disruptions, despite potential external challenges.
