Republika Srpska: Rus-Swiss Comsar Energy Group starts work on new 36MW HPP Mrsovo, value of 100MEUR

The construction of new 36MW HPP Mrsovo in Rudo Republika Srpska officialy started with foundation laying done by President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik and the owner of Comsar Energy Mr.Rasid Sardarov. Comsar energy also develops another power gen investment project, the construction of new unit in existing TPP Ugljevik.

Dodik stated that the owner of Comsar Energy Group secured financing for this investment in value of 100MEUR.
This investment is the proof that the government of Republika Srpska invests maximum efforts for the development of eastern part of Republika Srpska.

Comsar obtained in time the construction and environment permit. The intention of investor is that HPP does not influence the nature of the environment.

Minister for space planning and construction Srebrenka Golic stated that HPP Mrsovo will not have significant acommulation as its going to be a stream line HPP.

The value of the investment into HPP Mrsovo is 100MEUR.Under the accumulation lake it will be 200 hectares and water will reach regional road Brodar-Priboj.

Annual production will be 141 Gwh of electricity. HPP will be connected to the RS energy system.
