Electricity distributor Distributie Energie Electrica Romania (DEER) has set up an ambitious investment program for 2023. DEER, a member company of the Electrica Group, has planned investments of around 100 million euros annually, from its own funds or bank loans.
One of the strategic objectives assumed for the next period is to increase the level of access to non-reimbursable funds for investment works.
In 2022 the company fulfilled its investment program worth 100 million euros. It was aimed at improving the quality of the distribution service and increasing operational efficiency.
ANRE’s decision to increase distribution tariffs for this year will allow DEER to implement a more ambitious investment plan, more than 15% higher than in 2022.
