Electricity distribution fees in Romania could be increased by 6% from January 2024, according to Vice-President of the National Energy Regulatory Authority Gabriel Andronache.
He stated that he had several discussions with electricity distributors, which requested an increase in distribution fees. He also said that the investments in the distribution network should be more calculated because if the network had been developed and strengthened in stages, there would not be current connection pressure by the prosumers.
