Electrica Furnizare was selected to build a smallscale solar power plant with an installed capacity of 818.8 kW and estimated annual electricity generation of 1,108 MW for the Albacher brewery at its facility in Sebes.
The project includes the installation of 1,840 solar panels with power output of 445 W each. The investment will help reduce CO2 emissions by around 348 tons per year. After its completion, which is expected in the first half of 2022, the brewery will reduce its annual electricity
consumption by 16 %.
Director of the Department of Key Customers Electrica Furnizare Iulian Matei said that the main goal of the company is to offer its business
partners turnkey solutions that generate the reduction of electricity costs, energy efficiency and the reduction of the carbon footprint. Electrica Furnizare is present nationwide through specialized consultants, who can offer customized solutions for each client and each industry.
Last July, Electrica Furnizare commissioned a solar power plant with a total installed capacity of 306.4 kW for Uztel, a manufacturer of extraction and construction equipment. The plant will cover part of Uztel’s electricity consumption, with a direct impact in reducing the total cost of electricity.
