Government decided to extend the deadline for submission of bids for HPP Tarniţa for almost a month. Construction of HPP pumping storage (HPSS) Tarniţa – Lăpuşteşti, first plant of its kind in Romania, is a priority for the short and medium term strategy for energy sector development, provided the Romanian Energy Strategy for 2007-2020.
“As a result of the interest shown by a large number of potential investors to participate in the selection process, Hydro project company Tarniţa announces extension specified in the advertisement for submission of documents for participation in the pre-qualification stage and preliminary non-binding negotiation, in order to implement Tarn-Lăpuşteşti Project CHEAP, from 31 October 2014 until 10.00 on 27 November 2014, 10.00 ” , says in the statement of HydroTarnita company.
