As of 20 September, the largest Romanian oil and gas company OMV Petrom (ticker symbol SNP) will be included in the indices of the global supplier FTSE Russell. These indices are: FTSE Global All-World, FTSE Global All-Cap, FTSE Global Total-Cap and FTSE Global Mid Cap
OMV Petrom CFO Alina Popa said thar the company is pleased with the inclusion of its shares in the FTSE Russell indices, which shows the attractiveness of the company’s shares as an investment option. It is the result of continuous effort to improve operational and financial performance and also to increase transparency for the company. With the inclusion in these indices, OMV Petrom expects an additional increase in the attractiveness of its shares for a wider and more diversified investor base.
