Romania: Photon Energy plans for solar portfolio developing in Romania, SEE Energy News
Currently, Dutch-based Photon Energy is active in Romania only in maintenance area, taking care of solar project with combined capacity of 15 MW. Photon Energy plans to develop a portfolio of solar power plants in Romania worth 100 million euros.
Annual financial report of the company reads that it is currently developing solar projects with a total installed capacity of 594.6 MW in Australia, 96.6 MW in Hungary, 105.2 MW in Romania and 24.9 MW in Poland, but is also evaluating other market opportunities. Photon Energy’s business model is to develop solar projects, but it seldom keeps them in its portfolio and usually sells them to other investors upon completion.
