Romania: RES power output reaches 4.664MW

Regulatory Committee of the National Regulatory Authority for Energy (ANRE) licensing for establishment of a new photovoltaic project and two small hydro (less than 10 MW).

Photovoltaic park will have a capacity of 2,873 MW and will be located in the Chevereşu Mare, Timis County. Establishment permit was requested by True Energy Company.
The Regulatory Committee have received accreditation to qualify for green certificates support scheme two wind farms, two small hydro and photovoltaic project.

Ability to produce energy from renewable sources reached a total installed capacity of 4,664 MW at the end of July this year, according to data provided by Transelectrica. The system is connected with wind power projects of 2,769 MW, photovoltaic parks with a total capacity of 1,228 MW, 567 MW small hydro and biomass projects with a cumulative power of 100 MW.
