Termoenergetica received a single offer at the tender launched in October for the rental and placement of mobile thermal energy production units that would be placed inside the former CET Titan in Bucharest.
Termoenergetica had launched the tender for the lease of the modular thermal energy production capacities in mid-October. Modular boilers are needed to supplement the district heating network at its weak points.
Only one offer was received from the company Energofor. It specializes in sanitation, heating and air conditioning works, was established 21 years ago, has 58 employees and a turnover of 4.3 million euros.
The modular capacities will have an installed thermal power ranging between 30 Gcal/h (35 MW) and 60 Gcal/h (70 MW). The estimated value of the contract is of between 2.6 and 8 million euros, for renting, assembling and then dismantling the equipment. Most likely, even if the contract with this company is signed, the leased capacities will not be able to produce thermal energy during the current winter season.
Termoeneregtica is the operator of district heating system in Romania’s capital Bucharest, established in late 2019 instead of RADET who went into bankruptcy.
