Transgaz, natural gas transmission system operator, recorded a net profit of 14.3 million euros in the first half of 2023. That is 60 lower compared to the same period last year.
At the same time, operational revenues amounted to 153.8 million euros, 8% higher compared to the same period in 2022, while operational totaled 147.2 million euros (+8%).
Balancing revenues decreased slightly due to several factors, such as lower price and lower volumes of trades on the balancing market.
The total amount of transported gas in the first half of the year was 6.36 billion cubic meters, decrease of 2 year-on-year. Investment expenses decreased by 60%, reaching 9 million euros
