Janaf most strongly rejected the repeated claims of the head of MOL, Žolt Hernadi, about transport tariffs, stressing that in the calculation of those tariffs company uses a proven methodology that ensures equal treatment of all users and it is related to the actions of the gas pipeline.
“Janaf strongly rejects the repeated claims of the President and CEO of MOL Group, Žolt Hernadi, about the amount of transport tariffs presented in an interview with a Hungarian media. We emphasize that Janaf and the MOL group have a long-standing partnership and that Janaf is a safe and reliable partner that contributes to the stable supply of oil to Hungary and Slovakia,” the Adriatic Pipeline Administration (Janaf) points out in response to Hernad’s interview with the Hungarian portal Index.
Janaf reminds us that in all business relations with the users of its transport and storage system, including the relationship with the MOL Group, Janaf uses a proven methodology in the calculation of transport tariffs that ensures equal treatment of all users and is not related to legal entities, but to gas pipeline sections, with which MOL is also familiar with.
“We invite the MOL group to use Janaf’s transport capacities, which fully guarantee the provision of all their needs for both refineries,” the Janaf management statement said.
