SEE region: Moderate rise in spot prices on Monday, SEE Energy News
Spot electricity prices in Southeast Europe for delivery on Monday, May 1 ranged from €73.07 per MWh in Romania and Bulgaria to €117.49 per MWh in Greece.
On Monday, the Greek market is by far the most expensive wholesale market in Europe, with a premium of around 40 euros over the German market.
In other Southeast European countries, the day-ahead price on Monday is 79.15 euros per MWh in Serbia, 81.7 euros per MWh in Hungary, and around 82 euros per MWh in Croatia and Slovenia.
On Sunday, spot prices in the region ranged between 69-70 euros per MWh in most countries, except in Serbia (83.9 euros per MWh) and Greece (119.65 euros per MWh).
