Weekly average spot electricity prices in South-East Europe increased in all markets in week 23 compared to the previous week. They ranged between 77 and 94 euros per MWh.
In Bulgaria, the spot price amounted to 77.4 euros per MWh. Italy was the most expensive country in Europe (93.8 euros per MWh), followed by Greece which recorded an electricity price of 85.1 euros per MWh.
In Central Europe, all wholesale electricity markets recorded considerable price increases. The Netherlands was the country with the lowest electricity price at 74.2 euros per MWh, followed by France which registered a price of 75.8 euros per MWh.
