Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said after the meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Sochi that Serbia has managed to secure very favorable price for natural gas supplied by Russian Gazprom.
According to President Vucic, the price of natural gas supplied to Serbia in the next six months will be 270 dollars per 1,000 cubic meters. He added that the country will save up to 300 million dollars, considering the difference between the agreed price and current market price in Europe.
However, he did not disclose any other details except the price, because the agreement has not been officially signed yet.
Last week, President Vucic said that Serbia would like to increase the volume of imported Russian natural gas to 3 billion cubic meters per year.
