The realization of the remote control sectioning system of the part in failure, significantly reduces the length of the interval in dead state of the consumer in these areas during removing the faults, but also during regular maintenance (by revisions, repairs or cleaning the lines).
The paper written by Srboljub Stosic, Aleksandra Janjic and Milos Stevanovic proposed technical solution of system for fast localization and elimination of faults on long, 10kV lines that supply consumers in mountainous areas. Implementation of this system significantly reduces the length of dead state of the consumers in these areas, during faults repair, but also in regular maintenance. All equipment and switches are used in combination with automatic reconnection system, placed in terminals of corresponding SS 35/10 kV. Based on the method of multi-criteria analysis, optimization of locations for installation of circuit breakers, was carried out. The method is illustrated on a real example of distribution network, which this system is installed on.

This system was successfully implemented in the areas of ED Leskovac – unit Surdulica, on terminals which generally pass through the mountain and forest areas. The work has found application in shorter 10kV lines in mountain areas, which connects to 10kV lines in lowland areas, in order to reduce the appropriate indicators of reliability.
