Draft proposal of the law for international pipeline “South Stream” is prepared and delivered to government. Start of the pipeline building is expected in the beginning of this year.
“We will get not only one more way of supply, but also one more supplier, because gas from Azerbaijan, and not Russia, should come through pipeline Nis-Dmitrovgrad, stresses Minister.
“It is meaningful to start as soon as possible, not only in Serbia, and building has already begun in Russia. It means that we can expect new direction of gas flow in three to four years”, believes Minister and adds that two-way pipeline agreement, interconnection between Bulgaria and Serbia, will allow Serbia to be energy ensured.

According to her estimation, transparent expenses will be lower than current expenses through Hungary, which is the only gas supplier for Serbia at the moment. These expenses amounts 40 dollars for 1000 cubic meter of gas now.
She underlined that team for fight against criminal and corruption is working in Ministry of Energy, but she don’t want to talk about criminal and corruption cases which are being investigated.
Minister Mihajlovic emphasized that it has to do with “big stuff” for electricity, gas and other energy areas, in environment area also.
“All cases will be presented at one moment, public will be introduced to it, as much as possible and processed subjects will be forwarded to prosecution”, concluded Minister Mihajlovic.
