Minister of Energy Zorana Mihajlovic says that the Ministry will try to sign pre-contracts and contracts for new energy facilities during next year.
She said on press conference, that teams in the Ministry will be formed for all planned projects and these are TPP and Heating Plant Novi Sad, TPP Stavalj, TPP Despotovac, HPP Bistrica and HPP Djerdap 3.
She said that the plan is to sign a contract for TPP and Heating Plant Novi Sad and pre-contracts for TPP Stavalj and Despotovac until 1 November 2013 and to sign a pre-contract for HPP Bistrica and Djerdap 3 by 31 December.
Realization of these projects would bring 2.200 MW of new capacities to Serbia and investments in amount of 2,5 billion EUR.
Mihajlovic said that terms for conclusion of this project will be determined in the end of this public companies’ reform.
She added that savings are estimated to hundreds millions of EUR and investments to billions of EUR by former and planned projects of the ministry.
As she said, adoption of changes and contribution of 5 systematic laws from environmental area are planned and these are: the Law for Nature Protection, Law for Environment Protection, Law for Waste Management, Law for Chemicals. Law for Biocide Products and Forming of Budget Fund for Energy Efficiency.
