Serbia, Sombor to start preparation of the regulation plan for solar power plant

The City of Sombor, located in Serbian northern province of Vojvodina, announced that it has started works on the preparation of the detailed regulation plan for the construction of a solar power plant near Bezdan.

Last August, CMC Europe, a Hungarian subsidiary of Chinese company, has expressed interest in the construction of solar power plant with installed capacity of up to 100 MW near Sombor. The company signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the city, pledging to provide all necessary assistance in the construction of the plant.
