Chief of Russian Gasprom, Aleksey Miller, comes to Serbia on 27 March and the long-term contract for Russian gas purchase for Serbian marker will be signed then- Managing Director of Srbijagas, Dusan Bajatovic, announced.
Managing Director of Srbijagas, Dusan Bajatovic, announced signing the contract for Russian gas purchase with Chief of Russian Gasprom, Aleksey Miller, to be by the end of March.
“We expect average gas price to be 370 dollars for 1000 cubic meters”, Bajatovic said to journalists in Paracin.
Bajatovic said that ideological project for construction of the “South Stream” pipeline branch through Serbia will be finished by 31 March and general project by the end of June.
“This means that we’ll launch announcing of long-term tenders i.e. purchase of pipelines and compressor station”, Bajatovic added.
Tender for work performers will be announced by the end of this year or in the third quarter of the year.
“Serbian construction operative can do all of this. We’ll take care of this to be respected according to the prices offered by competitive partners i.e. foreign companies”, Bajatovic said.
The pipeline branch through Serbia will be 450 km long, around 1,7 billion EUR worth and this part of the project will be realized by Gasprom and Srbijagas within joint company “Juzni Tok Srbija” where Russian part amounts 51% and Serbian part is 49%.
International pipeline “South Stream”, where 16 billion EUR in total will be invested in, will transport Russian gas through pipes under Black Sea, over Bulgaria, Serbia, Hungary, Slovenia and Italy to these and other consumers in Europe.
