Slovenia: Electricity trade on BSP in April
, SEE Energy NewsIn April 2021, a total of 807,002 MWh of electricity was traded on the day-ahead market on the Slovenian energy exchange BSP Southpool, which is a 24.7 % increase compared to the previous month, with an average of 26,900 MWh/day. Traded volume was 42.2 % higher compared to April 2020. Average daily base price on day-ahead market in April amounted to 64.47 euros/MWh, which is a 15.3 % increase compared to March, while average euro-peak price reached 66.52 euros/MWh (+ 13.8 %). Regarding intraday auctions, a total of 148,989 MWh was traded on implicit intraday auction in April 2020, od which 106,511 on the continuous market (+ 12.8 %), with an average price of 66.24 euros/MWh (MI2) and 66.02 euros/MWh (MI6).
